What does a private event entail?

You choose the location, guests and theme. We’ll bring the Graze experience with organic, locally-sourced and intentionally prepared courses.
Our private experiences include a food service of your choice (Grazing Table, Tray-Passed Appetizers, 3-Course Meal, or 5-Course Meal) made with the highest quality ingredients.
This includes sourcing of high quality + organic ingredients, set up, clean up, dish preparation, serving of dishes (Grazing Tables are self-serve), and an educational experience / health benefit breakdown of each dish (for 3-Course + 5-Course service).
We can also supply plates & flatware, custom physical menus, and table decor (candles, florals, etc.) for an additional cost (Grazing Tables include decor).
Please also note that we do not supply tables, chairs, or any rental items.
Our 3-Course and 5-Course packages include water service and starter beverage. Drink pairings are an additional cost.
In summary, our private events include strictly food service and table decor if applicable. However, we have a list of preferred vendors if you need help with other aspects of your event such as rentals, design, etc.

What kind of events do you offer?

Graze currently offers 3 different packages for private dining experiences including Grazing Tables / Tray-Passed Appetizers, 3-Course Meals, and 5-Course Meals. Our 3-5 Course packages include an educational experience where our team will explain the health benefits of each dish and discuss the importance of organic, local + nutrient-dense ingredients.

What do your menus typically look like?

Graze prides itself on only cooking with seasonal, local ingredients that are sourced just before your event from the local farmers market, vendors, farms, etc.
This means that at times it can be difficult to guarantee a specific menu with finalized ingredients.
Typically, our clients enjoy giving us the freedom to create a menu solely based on what is most fresh at the time and what we feel fits best for your event.
We of course welcome you to express your personal preferences and desires for the menu during the planning process and we will do our best to accommodate, but please keep this in mind when booking. 
We can also accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies with ample notice beforehand.
In general, here are some examples of menus for each package:
Grazing Table:
 • Homemade Dips, Crudités, Charcuterie, Meats & Cheeses, Bread & Crackers, etc.
Tray-Passed Appetizers:
 • 3-5 Seasonal Appetizers
3-Course Meal:
(can be family-style)
 • Seasonal Salad or Soup
 • Protein & Vegetable Main Dish
 • Dessert 
5-Course Meal:
(can be family-style)
 • Amuse-Bouche
 • Seasonal Salad or Soup
 • Sourdough Bread, Fresh Dips and Compound Butter

 • Dessert

How many guests can you serve?

We have a 10 guest minimum for private experiences, however if you have a smaller party and are willing to pay our 10 guest minimum pricing we can still accommodate your event. However, we find that experiences with fewer than 30 guests tend to be the most intentional and intimate.

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

Graze is based out of the Hudson Valley. Therefore, we typically stick to the tri-state area including NYC for private experiences. However, our team can travel to your event for an additional cost.

How much does a private event cost?

Accepted Answer

The pricing for your private event will depend on many factors such as service type, guest count, location, specific menu requests, additional requests, etc.
Our prices take into account the fact that we only serve organic, seasonal, nutrient-dense, high quality ingredients sourced from local vendors.
